“There is nothing so great as the Eucharist. If God had something more precious, He would have given it to us.”

WELCOMING YOU HOME
Welcome to Saint John Vianney Parish, Gladwyne, PA, a Roman Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia! We are happy that you are with us! As a Catholic parish, we strive each day to grow in holiness by the faithful celebration of the Sacraments, meditation on the Sacred Word of God, and putting our faith in Jesus Christ into practice through acts of service. Wherever you are from or whatever you struggle with, there is a place for you here. Welcome home!

ABOUT OUR PARISH
Founded in 1927, Saint John Vianney Parish (often called “SJV” by our parishioners) became one of the first parishes in the world named after St. John Vianney (who was canonized in 1925). We invite you to learn more about why thousands of parishioners call our parish “home!”

WORSHIP
The liturgy of the Church is our access to the saving mysteries of Jesus Christ. Worshipping God, especially in the celebration of the Mass, is the most important thing that we do as a community. We invite you to join us!

GET INVOLVED!
As Catholics, we are called, not just as individuals, but together as a community to grow in holiness. At Saint John Vianney, we believe in the importance of gathering together for fun and community, but also to serve those most in need. However you want to get involved, we have a place for you!
HELP US CONTINUE OUR MISSION!
Your generosity allows us to celebrate the Sacraments, visit the sick and elderly, educate hundreds of children and adults, provide food for the poor, and much more. Thank you!
